She immigrated to the Canadian city from Laos, with her family, at the age of four. While her education includes a master’s degree in fine arts, sculpture and ceramics, it was through subsequent residencies that she found her current focus in fiber arts. In 2002 she and her husband John Booth established Bookhou, a multi-disciplinary studio.
