Gwilami - Crochet 101 ; let’s make your first crocheted piece - Saturday June 15th from 10AM to 1PM

Language : French with help for english participants

Duration : 3 hours

Material : All the material is included in your registration. You will have a set of high-quality yarn and a crochet hook to complete your project at home.

At the end of the workshop you will know how to: hold the wool, make a basic chain, make a single crochet, make an increase and a decrease, make a magic ring (option) and read a pattern (introduction to the text)

Originally from Montreal, Guillaume is currently based in Val-Morin, in the Laurentians. After his studies in Arts and Literature, he found himself working in customer service for Cirque du Soleil, a professional experience that took him around the world for approximately 15 years.

His passion for crochet and fiber arts began during the first lockdown in 2020, after he abruptly lost his job. Before everything closed down permanently, he got himself a crochet hook and a skein of yarn to pass the time. Since then, not a day has gone by without him crocheting!

Passionate about Arts in general, crochet allows him to express the bubbling creativity that has always lived within him. After learning the basic techniques on his own, he turned to creating original characters. He then decided to venture into entrepreneurship and founded Gwilami, a crochet pattern shop.

Guillaume now offers crochet workshops for all skill levels. Allow yourself to be tempted by the experience and come try making a stuffed toy with him!
