6-hour workshop 9 a.m. @ 4pm. or 2 period of 3 hours over 2 days.

Materials included: wires provided and equipment loaned for the duration of the workshop. 

Materials to bring: scissors, measuring tape, pencil and paper for personal notes, personal loom and thread (optional)

During this workshop the student will learn; 
- the name of the different parts of the loom and their usefulness.  
- to plan a simple project (calculation of the quantity of thread needed for a project, purchase of thread, reading a simple pattern, etc.)
- to weave a chain, 
- to set up a table or floor loom,  
- to weave a simple tabby. 
- other specific needs can be covered according to needs (6-8-12 frames loom,  assembly and set up at home on demand ...)

If time permits,  student will be able to leave with a small sample of handmade fabric.  The loom assembled together during the workshop will be accessible during the opening hours of the WÖÖL store for a period of 5 to 10 days following the workshop.
